The Great White North Triathlon Bike Map

A challenging ride with lots of variety, starting at Allan Beach Resort the course heads north on Allan Beach Road to Highway 16, then east to Highway 779, south, through the Town of Stony Plain, to highway 627, west to highway 770, south past the Genesee River crossing of the North Saskatchewan river to Township Road 505A which is the turnaround point where you retrace the same course back to Stony Plain. The second transition (from bike to run) is located at former Memorial Composite High School site (5116 – 55 ave.). The 90 Km bike route will give you a taste of rural Alberta with it’s beautiful farmlands and abundant wildlife. The roads are well paved with good shoulders and the entire bike course will be swept the day before the race! The bike course is closed to spectator traffic on race day! Anyone wishing to cheer on their family members or friends should find alternate routes to locations along the bike course, but please stay off the bike course itself!

Technical support will be provided on course but make sure you have the appropriate supplies in case of mechanical issues.
